is available. This Web version includes data, documentation, visualization and
search capabilities.

All data in the World Data Center for Paleoclimatology archive are contributed by research
scientists. Contributors and references are available in readme or data file headers. Here
is a Sample Data Citation.
The NOAA Paleoclimatology Program, National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC),
and the World Data Centers for Paleoclimatology and for Glaciology (Snow and
Ice) jointly maintain archives of ice core data from throughout the world.
Data from polar and low latitude mountain glaciers and ice caps are archived.
Proxy climate indicators include oxygen isotopes, methane concentrations,
dust content, and other parameters.
